TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) -

A half-sized replica of the Vietnam memorial was on display at the Tomah VA Medical Center Sunday.

The moving wall which is more than 260 feet long, has been traveling the country for the past 30 years.

The wall displays the names of the over 58,000 Americans killed during the Vietnam War, including more than 1,000 from Wisconsin.

Also on display was Wisconsin Remembers, a Face for Every Name.

The exhibit shows pictures of every Wisconsinite killed during the war.

The Veterans Affairs staff says the exhibit is powerful.

"A lot of people have said, we come here and we see the names engraved but then you go inside and now you see the faces, you see the eyes of those service members from Wisconsin that served. And they said that's even more powerful,” Matthew Gowan, of the Tomah VA, said.

The wall will be taken down Monday following a closing ceremony.
