WINONA, Mnn. -

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture will host free Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) tours later this month to make the community more familiar with signs and symptoms of the infestation.

Event organizers say the tours, which are part of Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week, will give a first-hand look at EAB infested tress in the area on May 18 and 21 at the Great River Bluffs State Park in Winona.

The tours will meet at the Kings Bluff Trailhead parking lot on Park Road, beyond the Great River Bluffs park building.

To register or for more information on the EAB tours, contact Erika Commers, Plant Health Specialist, Minnesota Department of Agriculture, at 651-201-6244 or erika.commers@state.mn.us.
