TOMAH, Wis. -

Tomah Police officers arrest a man wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Wednesday afternoon.

A release from the Tomah Police department says officers were at the 500 block of Woodard Ave. around 3:00 p.m. investigating an unrelated incident. Upon arrival, police encountered Christopher Allen, 28.

Police determined he had a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant for his arrest.

Allen hid in the attic and refused to come out.

The Monroe County Combined Tactical team was called in to remove and arrest Allen.

Authorities say he was taken into custody without incident.
