EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, Wis. (WKBT) -

A log truck traveling eastbound on Highway 12 entered the ditch and rolled onto its side early Monday morning, according to the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver was not injured and no other vehicles were impacted by the crash at 5:30 a.m.

Eau Claire County deputies were able to keep one lane of traffic open while the logs were off-loaded, but Highway 12 was closed for about 50 minutes while the log truck was righted and removed from the scene.  The highway reopened at about 8 a.m.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The Augusta Police Department and the Eau Claire County Highway Department assisted the Eau Claire Sheriff’s Office.
