La Crosse's mayor was hoping for better news for cities across the state in Governor Scott Walker's State of the State speech.
Mayor Tim Kabat hosted his second "Coffee with Kabat" at the South Side Neighborhood Center Thursday night.
It's his way to get into the community and hear suggestions and concerns from the citizens.
We asked the mayor about some of his concerns from Wednesday night's State of the State. "I do think it would make sense to restore some of the cuts we've seen here at the local level, because in our cities, in our metropolitan is where we're seeing the business creation and job growth," said Kabat.
