Members from the La Crosse Police Department hit the links to raise money for their four legged sidekicks.

The department hosted its fourth annual K-9 fundraiser Wednesday at Forest Hills Golf Course.

The four-person, best-ball tournament included 18 holes of golf, raffle prizes, and of course a good time.

The money raised helps fund the training and food needs for the four K-9 teams in the department. "This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, with 28 golf teams here today, that is going to be a big, big event for us in order to raise the money that we need," said K-9 handler Scott Secord.

The K-9 program includes an explosive and narcotics detection dogs.
