LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) -

Bike enthusiasts had the chance to give back to the La Crosse community on Saturday.

The La Crosse Lions Club hosted the 7th annual Ride for Sight. The ride offered participants five different lengths of races.

The event looks to raise money to support the Lions Club's vision projects financial aid for vision screenings and eye clinics.

They also wanted to raise funds to help send children to their camp in Rosholt.

"We send local children up to the camp, visually impaired children, they have an opportunity to spend a week at camp for no cost,” said Art Marson, a member of the La Crosse Lions Club.

An average of 60 bicyclists sign up every year.
