La Crosse leaders approve land use agreement with EcoPark
With final approval from La Crosse city leaders plans for the EcoPark are moving ahead.
Thursday night, the city council approved a 10 year land use agreement.
It means the EcoPark can continue operating on city land and at the same time continue fundraising efforts for its four playscape projects.
They're hands-on exhibits for kids. Each one has its own theme: Wild Water, Forest Scramble, Farm Play, and Prairie Mystery.
The EcoPark's executive director says the newly approved land use agreement should signal security to the park's donors, and encourage their support to complete the still unfinished playscape projects.
