LA CROSSE, WI (WKBT) -

The La Crosse Jaycee's Toys for Tots drive wrapped up Friday.

The organization stopped at barrels throughout the community picking up donated toys for children in our community.

News 8 was their second stop on Friday and they had already filled several truck and trailer loads of toys.

The Jaycees hope to provide toys to 1,200 kids this year and say they are confident they will meet that goal. "We've had several great years in the past. And the program is just getting stronger and stronger and it's all because of places like WKBT and a lot of our great sponsors," said Kyle Olson from the Jaycees.

The toys will be distributed December 14th.
