Celebrations of Dr. Martin Luther King's dream are being held across Wisconsin.

In La Crosse, there will be a Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 7 p.m. on Monday at the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre. Minnesota Supreme Court Justice and National Football League Hall of Fame member Alan Page will give the keynote address.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee is hosting its 17th annual breakfast to commemorate King's work to advance civil rights with nonviolence and his mission of service. The event Monday morning is being held at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee.

Later, at the Capitol in Madison, Dr. Jonathan Overby of Wisconsin Public Radio hosts the annual State of Wisconsin tribute to Dr. King and his legacy. That ceremony begins at noon.

A "freedom sing-in" will be held at Madison's 29th annual City-County observance Monday evening at the Overture Center. Former UN Ambassador Andrew Young will give the keynote address.
