WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT) -

June Dairy Days is kicking off this weekend.

The 45th annual celebration in West Salem began Saturday with a fishing derby, a one-mile walk-run and a parade in the morning.  The party continued at night with live music.

June Dairy Days celebrates our area's agricultural heritage and gives the entire family a chance to get outside.

"There's a lot of family fun, there's a lot of music, and also all of the profits from June Dairy Day's go to support the non-profits that help run the festival,” said John Hetland, president of the June Dairy Days Board.

The fun continues through June 1st this weekend.
