A yearly bridge inspection scheduled to start Monday could impact your commute all week.
Crews are expected to be out on the Highway 43 bridge in Winona starting at 8 Monday morning.
The equipment used to do the inspection requires one lane be closed. Traffic will be down to one lane on the bridge between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The lane closure will remain in effect through Thursday, if the weather cooperates. Both lanes will be open each evening after inspectors finish their work.
Routine inspections of Mississippi River bridges are done each year. A more in-depth inspection happens every two years.
