If you're going to be flying for the upcoming holidays, La Crosse's airport has similar restrictions to last year.
Clinton Torp is the Manager of the La Crosse Regional Airport. He says the biggest reason travelers would be slowed on their way through security is the 'liquid and gel' rule. Travelers are only allowed to carry-on three ounces of those items, and the bottles need to be in a plastic bag.
His other recommendation is to avoid wrapping gifts before you travel.
"You can wrap your presents when you fly, but if there's something suspicious, [TSA] will open the package," says Torp.
He says there's no need to arrive at the airport extra early during the holiday season, but it's a good idea to keep an eye on the weather.
