Gundersen Health System donated 24 used computers to Catholic Charities in La Crosse on Tuesday.
The donation includes monitors, keyboards, and mice. All of the information has been wiped from the hard drives.
Catholic Charities plans to use the computers in its alternative schools and homeless facilities.
"I don't think it's a mystery that for a non-profit, trying to operate certainly budgets and funds are something we think about all the time, and technology's not cheap,” said Chuck Berendes, assistant executive director for Catholic Charities.
Last year Gundersen donated about 15-hundred computers to non-profits, schools and churches.
