JACKSON CO., Wis. -

Fireworks are believed to be the cause of a late night fire in Jackson County.

At about 11 p.m. on Saturday, the Black River Falls Fire Department was called to a fire on County Highway X in the Township of Albion.

When they arrived a wooden structure in the fire had already collapsed. While firefighters aren't confirming a cause they say they believe it was started by fireworks.

The owner was nearby when she saw the glow from the fire and called the fire department.

No one was at the property at the time and it is not insured.

Fire fighters say they do not have a damage estimate yet.
