It features the La Crosse Symphony Pops Orchestra with Maestro Alexander Platt.

This year they will feature a number of patriotic songs including the National Anthem, Hymn to the Fallen, and the Armed Forces Salute. "You don't have to pay admission, there's nothing that's required except for just to show up with your blankets and your chairs and your family and enjoy a free event," said La Crosse Symphony Orchestra Executive Director Tracy Fell.

The Festival Foods Salute to the Fourth kicks off at 7 p.m. Saturday at the soccer fields along Rider's Club Road.

Along with the Symphony Orchestra, there will be the Coulee Region Steel Band.  The night is capped off with a fireworks display beginning at 10 p.m. The entire event is free and open to the public.
