Extreme cold headed toward Wisconsin
A blast of cold air is moving into Wisconsin, bringing brutal temperatures and dangerous wind chills.
The National Weather Service says Wisconsin will see temperatures drop throughout the day Sunday. Most of the state is under a wind chill advisory Sunday night and into Monday.
The Green Bay area will see wind chills anywhere from 20 below zero to 35 degrees below zero. Madison could also see Sunday night wind chills as low as minus 25, with some light snow possible on Monday.
Freezing rain or drizzle could also be an issue in southern Wisconsin, and could affect driving conditions.
The cold is expected to stick around for the next couple of days, with below-zero temperatures expected on Monday and Tuesday nights.
