Organizers say it's been a decade of dips for dogs in Onalaska.
The 10th annual Diggity Dog Dip was held at the Onalaska Aquatic Center this morning.
The event gives dogs a chance to swim in the pool while raising money for the La Crescent Animal Rescue and Onalaska Parks and Recreation Department.
Nearly 400 dogs were expected to take part in today's event.
Organizers say the event is really for the dogs.
"The dip has always been about the dogs. I recently got a couple of letters from a couple of representatives thanking me for putting on this community event and it wasn't until then that I actually considered it, it's like really it's a community event...I always did it for the dogs! " Diggity Dog Dip owner Pat Kucera said.
Humans were allowed in for free today however the dogs had to pay a 10 dollar entrance fee.
