A mile stretch of the Interstate near Black River Falls closed for several hours Tuesday evening after a crash involving two semis.
It happened just after 5:00 p.m. at milepost 121 on I-94.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says a semi was parked on the shoulder of the interstate because of engine failure. A second semi rear-ended it, continued into the median, caught fire and was destroyed.
The driver, Jim Brown, 52, of Ramsey, Minnesota, was taken to Black River Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the disabled semi, Aleksandr Napelenok, 28, of Ramsey, Minnesota, was not injured.
The interstate reopened a little before 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
