LA CROSSE, Wis. -

What some thought was American Airlines canceling service from the La Crosse airport was actually just a computer glitch.

Travelers couldn't schedule flights with the airline for anything after September first leaving them wondering if the airline was done servicing La Crosse.

The airport manager says it was just a technical problem. "The flights were appearing and disappearing throughout the weekend and on Monday you would actually go online and book an airline ticket and there were no flights available," said La Crosse Airport Manager Clint Torp.

The problem has been resolved and the company is not stopping service in La Crosse.
