The snow seems to keep piling up throughout the Coulee Region, and some places are having a hard time finding a place to put it all.
City of La Crosse officials are reminding businesses and residential complexes that if you plow your lot, the snow has to stay on private property.
That also goes for plowing alleys and shoveling sidewalks. Snow from there cannot be pushed back onto city streets.
"Once we've plowed residential streets we're probably not going to go back through those again until the next snowfall or two, three, four nights later. So that snow again could cause some issues with motorists just driving on the city streets," says Dale Hexom, Director of Public Works in La Crosse.
The same rule also applies in Minnesota.
