An annual tradition rolled into town Thursday.

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train made a stop in Tomah and La Crosse Thursday night.

The train and its dozen or so cars are covered in hundreds of thousands of lights.

However, it's more than just a festive show. It's also a food donation drive for local food banks.

In the train's 14 years, more than two and a half million pounds of food has been donated all across the U.S.

The train will make a stop in some of our Minnesota communites next week.
