LA CROSSE, WI (WKBT) -

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will stop in Mauston, Tomah, Sparta and La Crosse on Thursday, December 5.

Two trains covered in lights and decorations are traveling across Canada and the United States for three weeks. Musicians traveling aboard the trains will play more than 150 free concerts from their boxcar stage.

At each stop, the public is encouraged to bring non-perishable food to donate to local food pantries. Since the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train program began in 1999, it has raised $7.4 million and 3 million pounds for local communities.
