LA CROSSE, WI -

The Blue Angels will return to La Crosse for shows in La Crosse on May 31 and June 1 in 2014.

The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron will perform 65 shows at 34 locations in the U.S. next year.

“Community outreach is key to connecting Americans to the military,” Blue Angels Commanding Officer and Flight Leader, Cmdr. Thomas Frosch said in a statement. “Our performances provide a unique opportunity to inspire millions to connect with and support our service members, and we are looking forward to an exciting 2014 season.”

The Blue Angels will also perform in Milwaukee on June 21-22 in 2014.

Federal budget cuts grounded the Blue Angels in 2013, canceling a show at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport.
