Two accomplices in the theft of a painting from an Arizona eatery have come forward after a public shaming on Facebook.

Tyler Christensen, owner of McMillen Bar and Kitchen in Flagstaff, took to social media after the painting went missing June 9, the Arizona Daily Sun reported.

He posted an open letter and surveillance photo of a man stuffing the painting into a backpack while two other men looked on.

"Dearest Thief," Christensen wrote, "I do not know your identity, nor do I care to. What I do wish is that you will return this painting to its rightful place adorning the walls of The McMillan Bar and Kitchen, where it will be available for someone to purchase should they wish."

The accomplices have since come forward and given him $500 for the painting, Christensen said.

The primary thief and artwork, however, remain at large.
