LA CROSSE, Wis. -

The local campground business is starting to feel the effects of the recent flooding.

The Pettibone campground manager in La Crosse says they haven't lost any reservations yet, but they've had to move people around as the Mississippi River level rises.

He knows the Fourth of July is just around the corner and losing any of the more than 200 reservations during one of the busiest weekends would be tough. "Not going to lie, it would hurt, it would hurt to lose that weekend, like any of the holidays, but any of the holidays being smack dab in the middle of summer, smack dab in the middle of camping season," said Zeb Allert.

Allert says it's important to keep a positive outlook and hope for the best.
