The La Crosse Salvation Army's Angel Giving Tree program officially kicked-off Monday morning.
You can find the tree inside the Valley View Mall. There are tags on it that include a child's name, that child's clothing size, and maybe a special Christmas wish of theirs.
Shoppers can choose a tag, buy items and hand them over to the Salvation Army. The organization takes care of delivering the gift to the child.
You have about three weeks to become an “angel giver.” Gifts need to be in the hands of the Salvation Army by December 6.
