LA CROSSE, WI -

A multi-vehicle crash closed the lanes of I-90 westbound near mile marker 2 in La Crosse County Friday evening.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) says traffic used the shoulder to get around the incident, which occured at about 3:30 p.m. Delays in excess of three miles were reported due to this incident.

Our News 8 crew on scene said it appears the incident involved two vehicles and a semi. The semi was blocking the lanes.

Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities cleared the scene in about an hour.

The left lane of I-90 westbound also closed at mile marker 41.5 near Tomah for emergency pavement repair. Crews were notified of that incident around 3:40 p.m. WisDOT says delays are expected for about 2 hours for that incident.
