MADISON, Wis. (AP) -

A state historical site is holding a drawing for a day on a 19th-century farm.

The winner of the Life on the Farm EXTREME contest as well as his or her family will spend May 18 working on an Old World Wisconsin farm. They'll wear period apparel, prepare a 19th-century meal cooked on a wood-fired stove and help with indoor and outdoor chores, including feeding farm animals.

The contest is open through April 4 to members of the Wisconsin Historical Society.

Old World Wisconsin features dozens of historic buildings relocated from around the state. The site is located outside Eagle.
