The Dane County medical examiner's office has ruled the death of a 5-year-old boy a homicide.
The boy was injured at a home in Sun Prairie in an alleged child abuse incident Tuesday. He died at UW Hospital on Thursday.
The medical examiner identifies the boy as Brayden Turnbill.
The boy's death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy on Friday. The medical examiner says additional examinations would continue Friday and resume next week.
The Wisconsin State Journal (http://bit.ly/HkOb2A ) reports Sun Prairie police and the Dane County sheriff's office continue to investigate.
Assistant Police Chief Scott Faust would not say if anyone has been arrested.
