Waterloo man faces murder charge in fatal shooting

WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) -

A Waterloo man faces a murder charge in connection with the shooting death of a Des Moines man.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports 26-year-old Orlando Dean Moore has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Anthony Gardner.

The 27-year-old Gardner was found last month lying on the porch of a home on the city's east side.

The Waterloo Police Department says Moore and Gardner were seen arguing before the shooting.

Moore was arrested Thursday for a probation violation. He remains at the Black Hawk County Jail.

Court records do not list an attorney for Moore.
