Wisconsin's Governor is celebrating economic expansion
within the state at a ribbon cutting ceremony in Arcadia
Governor Scott Walker celebrated the completion of
Ashley Furniture's construction project this evening.
The 'Chapel Hill Advanced Technology Center' is a
renovation of Arcadia's former
hospital into a technologically
advanced office building.
Governor Walker took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
saying Ashley is an example of what Wisconsin has
to offer companies.
Not just jobs, but jobs with better long-term commitment
and eventually, along the way, higher wages as people
advance in their careers.
That's a great commitment as well, and so we appreciate
that and that it's being done here.
Governor Walker also visited the site of the Myers
Valley Creek Flood Control Project.
