ONALASKA, Wis. -

A group of Viterbo University business students are hosting a fundraiser for the Onalaska Police Department’s D.A.R.E. program Tuesday night.

During the "D.A.R.E. to Fiesta" event, held from 4 to 9 p.m., Burrachos in Onalaska will donate 20-percent of the cost of each entrée ordered by customers who present the event flyer to the Onalaska Police Department’s D.A.R.E. and G.R.E.A.T. programs.

"My mom works at the Onalaska Police Department and when she told me that the D.A.R.E. program in Onalaska is funded through donation and fundraisers, it sounded like a perfect project," said Danielle Martin, one of the Viterbo students who organized the event.

"We're very pleased that the students chose the D.A.R.E. program for their project and it is excellent real world experience in event planning and fundraising for the students," said Onalaska D.A.R.E. Officer Leah Myers.

You can print the flyer here, or you can go to the City of Onalaska's website and click on the Burrachos logo. You can also stop by the Onalaska Police Department, 415 Main St. for event flyers and business cards.
