Another area fundraiser is wrapping up after 30 years
of community service.
The Franciscan Healthcare Auxiliary held the grand
finale of the Tiny Tim Benefit this weekend.
In the past .
the organization has been able to raise over 1 million
dollars to benefit health related needs in the community.
The weekend-long fundraiser finished up this morning
at the Waterfront with the Jingle Bell Brunch.
The festive brunch featured a performance from Misty's
Dance Studio and even a visit from Santa Claus!
Organizers say the event has made a noticeable impact
in community healthcare.
There are so many needs out there but not enough funds
and so we feel that we can fit that niche and find
the funds and it takes countless hours of volunteers
to help do this.
And coming together, we've been able to provide for
that for these past 30 years.
