LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Another round of thunderstorms brings heavy rain and winds that downed trees in the La Crosse area and caused several power outages.

The storm that hit Thursday morning downed power lines in the town of Shelby and blew over trees in La Crosse, Houston and Fillmore counties.
Wind gusts in excess of 60 miles per hour were reported in Holmen.
Riverland Energy Cooperative says more than 440 people were without power Thursday morning after a tree fell on a power line. Crews restored power just before 11:00 a.m.
Highway 43 in Fillmore County near Bratsburg closed due to a large pine tree over the road. Tree debris also covered Highway 76 between Caledonia and Houston Thursday morning.
In Jackson County the Village of Taylor lost power due to trees on power lines.
Buffalo County is reporting trees, power lines and debris over roadways after Wednesday night's storms.
Storms are also causing problems in eastern Wisconsin. There is no access to the Town of Rockwood in Manitowoc County due to flood waters.
Parts of Highway 41 near the Winnebago and Fond du Lac County line closed due to flooding. Highway 21 in Omro was also closed due to flooding Thursday morning. Both roadways have reopened to traffic.
