LA CROSSE, Wis.-- Democrat Jennifer Shilling will resign her position as the State Representative for the 95th Assembly District at the end of the day Friday.
Shilling defeated Senator Dan Kapanke in a recall election earlier this month. She'll be sworn in as the State Senator for the 32nd Senate District Saturday morning.
The oath of office will be administrated by the Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice at a ceremony held at the Black River Beach Neighborhood Center in La Crosse at 11 a.m. The event is open to the public.
