MADISON, Wis. -- A man already facing charges in Monroe County for setting fire to a Sparta convenience store now faces federal charges.

38-year-old Bradford White was arrested December 10 for allegedly breaking into Fast Eddie's Discount Liquor in Sparta, stealing some items and starting the fire.

Fast Eddie's owner Ed Habhegger tells News 8 he refused to sell to White because he was so intoxicted he could barely walk.

White allegedly returned, drove his car into the front door and then doused the convience store with alcohol and lighter fluid.

Thursday a grand jury in Madision indicted White on a federal charge for starting the fire.

White faces a maximum of 20 years in federal if convicted. He also faces four felony charges in Monroe County, including arson, burglary and criminal damage to property.
