The snowy conditions Tuesday morning contributed to a three-car accident that sent several people to the hospital.

It happened just before 9:00 a.m. on Highways 16 and 26 in Houston Co.

Authorities say a car going eastbound on Highway 16 lost control on the snowy road, crossed the center line and hit another car head-on. A third car then struck the first vehicle.

Tri-state ambulance says four people were taken to the hospital. Three were treated and released. One is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
