A group of friends dressed up like Santa and his elves went for a run Monday morning in La Crosse.

The six mile run is a tradition they've been doing for the past five years. They say they just want to bring some holiday cheer to people who pass by.

"We have a good time with it, everybody honks and waves, pictures, at least five people have pulled over to take pictures," said Holiday Jogger Santa.

"It's fun to watch people who are coming home and they're stressed from Christmas Eve and Christmas shopping and all of a sudden they do a double take and maybe it takes their mind off of it for a few minutes," said Holiday Jogger Kevin the Elf.

Kevin says anyone who hasn't shoveled and salted their sidewalk has been added to Santa's naughty list.
