Regulators may approve new e-pulltab vendors
Minnesota gambling regulators are meeting to consider new makers and distributors of the electronic gambling games that are being counted upon to help pay the state's share of a new Vikings stadium.
The state gambling control board will examine license applications from two providers of the electronic pulltabs, and four potential distributors.
Revenue from the electronic games is below expectations so far. But Gov. Mark Dayton and gambling regulators have said it's no cause for concern and they expect revenue to pick up steam as more charities roll out the electronic version of the old paper pulltabs.
