University of Wisconsin System officials are considering
a measure to possibly increase tuition for in-state
The U-W Board of Regents is set to discuss a resolution
that would call for a tuition hike in the 2018-2019
The proposed increase would be for no more than the
rate of inflation.
In-state tuition has been frozen for the past four
years as part of the state budget .
and Governor Scott Walker says he wants to extend
the freeze for at least another year.
The resolution is expected to be discussed at a meeting
at U-W Eau Claire on Friday.
