One person is taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Thursday evening in La Crosse.

It happened at the intersection of 13th St. and South Ave. on the city's south side.

Tri-State ambulance tells us they transported one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police have not released any other details of the crash.
