ONALASKA, Wis. -

It's a chance for Onalaska residents to learn about what their community has to offer and voice their concerns.

Mayor Joe Chilsen hosted his second quality of life symposium at City Hall on Saturday.

Each session has a different theme.

Saturday's was focused on health care.

Presenters from both Mayo Clinic Health System and Gundersen Lutheran Health System were there to talk about their mission and what they're doing in the community.

One resident who attended the symposium says he's thankful for the opportunity.

"I think this is a great idea and I would only hope that more people would take advantage of coming here. It's really very educational for such a short period of time," said Onalaska resident Ward Keil.

There are two more symposiums coming up.
