Officials investigate Grand Chute hotel stabbing

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating an apparent homicide in Grand Chute, after a man's body was found with in a hotel room with stab wounds.
WLUK-TV reports the incident happened on a first floor room at the Road Star Inn. Police Chief Greg Peterson says residents in the motel heard a disturbance about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
A manager went to check on the resident and called police.
Peterson says the victim was a man in his 40s, and it appears he fought his attacker.
