A local conference hopes you'll grow inspired.
The annual MOSES Organic Farming Conference is back at the La Crosse Center again this year. It's the largest organic farming conference in the nation with an expected attendance of more than 3,000.
Organizers say it's a chance for farmers, organic farmers, and the public alike to learn better practices and share what's working.
They can also talk about the struggles they've been facing such as recovering from the drought.
"So one of the things organic farmers are doing is looking at different alternative feed sources from alternative forages to alternative grains, and this is a conference they can come to and talk to other people who are successfully doing it," said MOSES Executive Director Faye Jones.
There are dozens of booths, workshops, and presentations happening through Saturday. Anyone and everyone is invited to attend.
