LA CROSSE, Wis. -- -

The La Crosse County Republican Party has a new place to call home.

It's just a block away from the old headquarters on Copeland Avenue in La Crosse.

Usually the party shuts down its operation after the fall election, but this year the members decided it was important to stay open and maintain a presence in the community through the upcoming spring election.

La Crosse County Republican Party Chairman Julian Bradley said it's a great opportunity to help people learn about the party.

"Everything gets so cluttered during election season between all the ads from both parties and then you get the independent candidate ads and the outside groups it kind of clouds what the message is for the party. That's the big push for this right now. It gives us the opportunity to let people know who the Republican party is here in La Crosse County," said Bradley.

Bradley said they plan on keeping the headquarters open through the spring but may close for the summer.
