LA CROSSE, Wis. -

Nearly $30,000 worth of drugs never made it to the streets of La Crosse. 

La Crosse police received a tip from Amtrak Police in Portland, Oregon that passenger Reuben Dudenbostel, 25, was acting very suspiciously and was headed to La Crosse.

Once Dudenbostel arrived in town Tuesday, La Crosse police along with the Holmen Police Department's K-9 were waiting. The K-9 immediately alerted to Dudenbostel's bag that he was carrying.

Police found 7.4 lbs. of marijuana in vacuum sealed bags with a street value of $29,600.

Dudenbostel faces a possession of marijuana with intent to deliver charge.
