La Crosse library re-launches non-profit resource center
Non-profits are able to provide numerous invaluable services for our area, but funding isn't always easy to come by. That's especially true with typically smaller staffs that don't have time to write for a competitive grant.
That's why the La Crosse Public Library is re-launching its Nonprofit resource center.
The area has both print and digital directories to give organizations the tools needed to find numerous grant opportunities. "It's unbelievable to be able to pull up this database and find out what these organizations are giving, to whom, how much, and whether a particular organization is going to be a good fit," said Electronic Resources Librarian Noreen Fish.
The center was funded in part by a grant from the La Crosse Community Foundation.
