Autumn is here, and with it comes falling leaves.
To help with your yard clean-up, La Crosse's leaf collection begins this Monday. Crews start on the city's north side and work their way south.
Once crews make their way through an area it could be at least three weeks until they make another pass through your neighborhood. Crews will continue picking up leaf piles until the first heavy snowfall of the season.
"We'll keep going as long as we can. We push for Thanksgiving and possibly further if we can. But if it's a light snow, we'll keep on pushing if we can,” said la Crosse Street Supervisor Brandon Shea.
Leaf piles need to be on the boulevard by seven in the morning to be picked up.
Crews also ask homeowners to keep all leaves in a single pile if possible.
