LA CROSSE, Wis.-- A large turnout is expected for Tuesday's recall primary.

The La Crosse County clerk is expecting up to a 40% turnout which is more than the recent the presidential primary.

In the race for governor, there will be several names on the ballot from both parties, but voters can only choose one. That means either a republican candidate or a democratic candidate, not both.

Voters will also choose a candidate for Lieutenant governor. "If you vote for the republican primary for governor, you can still vote for a democratic lt. governor, so it's not going to kick it back so that's one of the big changes for this election," says La Crosse Co. Clerk Ginny Dankmeyer.

The winners in Tuesday's primaries will faceoff in a general election on June 5th.
